Thank you and well done to teachers, captains and students for an amazing and successful 2021 Awards Ceremony. Camden Haven High School 2020 Year 12 student Ebony Nicholas has achieved the highest ATAR (97.55) in the school’s history and won $55 000 in scholarships to attend UNSW, all amongst the trauma of the fires and chaos of Covid-19. CHALC Work Readiness ProgramThe Year 10 CHALC class enjoyed participating in the 'Work Readiness' program, as they prepare for their work experience commencing one day per week next term. The informative program, delivered by Joanne Everson from MidCoast Connect, covered what is work experience and its benefits, the importance of the Student Placement Record, how to arrange interviews with host employers, and work experience expectations. The students enjoyed role playing, hypothetical scenarios and actively contributed to industry based discussions. CHHS Students Keep Stepping UpSix outstanding students have been recognised in this weeks 'double' Step Up Draw for their positive behaviour and are now able to enjoy their great rewards. Step Up cards are awarded to students for following the PBL values of Respect, Responsibility and Doing Your Best. |
