Evening of Dreams Come True!

 
 

More than $26,000 raised for the BATC Foundation!

Over 150 BATC members and guests attended a special tour of Artisan Home #17 by Swanson Homes for this year's Evening of Dreams supporting the BATC Foundation. While touring the gorgeous home attendees enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and spirits, and the acoustic sound of renowned guitarist Billy McLaughlin. Thank you to all who attended this year's event. The money raised will help the BATC Foundation complete four special projects for veterans in need this year.

Economic Forecast for the Second Half of 2016: Decent but Nothing Remarkable

EPA Lead Renovator Recertification
Be Aware of Your Expiration Date! Certification expires every five years! Fulfill your EPA Lead Renovator recertification requirements at BATC’s Contractor University.  

EPA lead certification and/or re-certification is required for any renovation that disturbs more than six square feet of interior or 20 square feet of exterior lead paint in residential or child-occupied facilities built before 1978.

Understanding the Minnesota Residential Energy Code
Contractor University and the Minnesota Energy Code Compliance Collaborative present three sessions to help increase understanding of compliance with the Minnesota Residential Energy Code.

Leadership Institute has Grand Finale

 

One of the states top leaders, House Speaker Kurt Daudt, stopped by to share his leadership advice during the last session of BATC's first ever Leadership Institute. Students spent this past year meeting once a month to hone in their leadership skills. 

BATC is now accepting applications for 16 students to enroll and participate in the next BATC Leadership Institute series – starting this September. The Leadership Institute is aimed at the up-and-coming next leaders within BATC member companies. Applications are being accepted through July 18.
