The Hike Collective - Tunnels & Dam Adventure Spring into Parks event

Saturday 3 October
Embark on an adventure to the Swan View Tunnel before enjoying the calming waters of the Glen Brook Dam on the 8km combination hike. After the trail adventures, indulge in locally sourced home-made sweet treats and native tea, while you hear the stories of fairy villages, swimming pools and the tearooms of the 1900's.

The Bibbulmun - L-Plates Pub Plod

Sunday 4 October
Are you a first timer or do you just occasionally dabble in bushwalking? This is a great way to learn about what the Track has to offer. Approx 12km walk (with some hills) takes you through mixed jarrah forest with views over the Mundaring Weir to a Bibbulmun Track campsite.

Darlington Chamber Music program

Sunday 4 October
2020 marks the 17th year of presenting world class chamber music in the wonderful setting of the Darlington Village. Listen to the lush sounds of a string sextet with Tchaikovsky's "Souvenir de Florence" and Schoenberg's "Verklarte Nacht", showcasing two world premieres - a string trio by James Ledger and a string quartet by Simon Kruit. The Hike Collective - John Forrest - Kids Adventure Hike

Wednesday 7 October
Enjoy a 2-3km hike exploring the Glen Brook Dam and John Forrest National Park, including the fairy villages and nature play space. Each child receives a 'scavenger map' and has the opportunity to spot certain animals on their hike to win a prize for their hard work! Recommended for children aged 3-12 years.
Duration approx 1.5 hrs. Starts 9.30am.

The Hike Collective - Explore The Eagle View Guided Hike

Explore the true delight of John Forrest National Park's lesser explored Eagle View Trail and the pristine habitats on a 15km eco-adventure.  With snaking trails and short bursts of rocky inclines, this hike will guide you through the valley, gradually climbing high from the valley floor to witness the magic of the vistas at Eagle View lookout.

A beginner friendly 6km hike to experience the diverse beautiful flora and fauna of the Bibbulmun Track. Take in the rich history and heritage of the Mundaring Weir before embarking on a small section of one of the world's great long distance walk trails. With Jarrah, Wandoo and Marri trees, you will be immersed in some truly spectaular bushland.
