The Third Trimester Fetal Growth Scans Reporting Template, endorsed by ASUM, RANZCOG (Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists) and RANZCR (Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists) has been published on the website here. This template was developed following requests from Obstetricians (Specialist & General Practitioner) that there be a minimum data set reported in 3rd trimester ultrasound scans. For example, while the presenting part or placental site may not have motivated the original request for the ultrasound, these may later be key bits of information around which clinical decisions need to be made.
The creation of the template is an example of the work that can be achieved through co-operation of the key bodies supporting patient care in this area of clinical practice: RANZCOG, RANZCR and ASUM. These organisations are particularly grateful to the members of the committee developing the template which included Philip Munro (RANZCR), John Slavotinek (RANZCR), Michael Permezel (RANZCOG), Greg Duncombe (RANZCOG), Debbie Nisbett (RANZCOG), Stacy Goergen (RANZCR) and Karen Mizia (ASUM).

ASAR wishes to advise that the annual renewal period for 2019 has been deferred to allow for changes in the current database.
The renewal period will be available before the end of the financial year and Sonographers will be advised when the renewal period for annual fees is open.
Please note that this WILL NOT AFFECT THE CURRENT ACCREDITATION STATUS OF REGISTERED SONOGRAPHERS. The public register will remain open in order to verify current active sonographer status.
Employers are to note that provision of tax invoice/receipts for 2019 will be delayed until further notice.
ASAR thanks you for your co-operation in this matter.
