The quartet will plunge back into works that shaped Composer's Kitchen, in addition to performing three new works by Gabriel Dharmoo, Cleo Palacio-Quintin and Andrea Young. Come indulge your senses in this festive evening! Salon Budapest Based on the work Commedia dell'arte by composer Ana Sokolović, this performance brings together choreographer and dancer Marc Boivin and the Bozzini Quartet. The score proposes a “mise en abyme” of the many emblematic characters in Commedia dell’arte. Far from theatrical norms, they confront the idea — if not true, at least conceivable — of who we are, and of our vulnerable and changing perception of reality. Composer's Kitchen: 15 ans de découvertes Quatuor Bozzini offers a series of three concerts featuring music by Hungarian composers Ligeti, Kurtag, Vidovskzki, Csapo and Zoltán Jeney, including the Canadian premieres of Something round and Something Like, written for 25 string instruments. Also on the program: Ligeti's Quartet No. 1.
