Support your practitioner community by providing your details on MHPN's Guest Speaker Registration Form. The register connects networks with presenters. It helps networks source speakers in specific fields and locations. Veteran-focussed networksMHPN supports networks for mental health practitioners who work with veterans. Meetings are attended by GPs, psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health nurses, social workers, occupational therapists and other associated mental health practitioners. They meet four times per year in communities across Australia. Brisbane's Veteran-Focussed MHPN (pictured above) recently met to discuss the importance of repairing relationships in military families. Veteran-focussed meetings bring practitioners together to encourage service coordination and improve referrals. MHPN supports 360+ networks across Australia. Research shows that attending a network meeting improves practitioner relationships, client referrals and contributes to better mental health care for Australians. Find your local network.
