Nine

What is your favourite place in the precinct?
The riverfront bikeways for the cooling breezes and people watching.

What do you want BSB members to know about you or your business?
We don’t say no we say “mission – possible”. Like the 16 x 12m Broncos jersey we produced and installed on the Kangaroo Point Cliffs for the Brisbane Broncos season launch.

What is something people wouldn’t know about your business?
Banner Specialists were first to introduce pole banner advertising into Brisbane for World Expo 88 where we were given an initial order of 75 banners which increased to 2300 banners to be delivered within 2 months!

What has recently happened at your organisation?
Not so recent but we were proud to be chosen by the Federal and State Governments to be awarded the “City Dressing” campaign for banners and flags throughout Brisbane for G20 and the Global Cafe.

What have you learnt lately?
Take nothing for granted.

What do you hope to achieve in your industry?
That we can continue to keep educating people that great quality manufacturing work can be done efficiently and economically here in Brisbane and not having to go off-shore.

What inspires you?
People who endlessly give their time and energy to those who are struggling through life no matter how busy they are.

What are your words of wisdom?
“If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you always got”.
