Matariki Bowls3Five at Te Atatu Te Atatu Bowling Club has been celebrating Matariki with a Bowls3Five tournament that started in 2019. Winners of the first tournament were a composite team of Karen Hema as skip and from Pringle Park, Marty Griffith and Andy Dawson. In 2020 Matariki Bowls3Five was won by another composite team with Steve Cox as skip, Lindsay Knight and Caroline Dubois from Royal Oak. This year the Matariki Bowls3Five tournament will be held on 10 July. The event was filled before it was advertised with 18 teams from North Harbour, Counties Manukau, Northland and Auckland.
