There is a lot happening in Greater Des Moines.
Here is a sampling of our recent economic development successes:

Innovative Injection Technologies, a custom plastic injection molder that specializes in complex, highly-engineered and cosmetic plastic parts, is planning to renovate, expand and connect two buildings in West Des Moines that would represent a capital investment of $10.7 million and create 36 jobs. 

Certintell received a $100,000 Innovation Acceleration Loan from the Iowa Economic Development Authority to increase information technology support for enterprise accounts. Certintell is a client of Square One DSM, which consults with startup companies to help develop and expand the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Greater Des Moines.

Polk County was named the #5 County for Millennial Home Purchases by Fortune. 

West Des Moines and Des Moines were the #5 and #9 Best Cities for Retirement, according to Bankrate.

The Wellmark YMCA in Downtown Des Moines received $1 million from the Iowa Economic Development Authority toward the completion of a new Olympic-size swimming pool and stadium seating with capacity for 1,500 people.
