    Head to the Union's Exam Rescue Station at Wayville Showgrounds for help, advice and a huge range of free and loaned items. Just look for the red Union flag outside the exam venue!

  • University council elections
    Voting in the election of students to the University Council closed on 8 November, and we are pleased to announce that Dan Bonsu has been elected as the postgraduate member and Arabella Wauchope has been elected as the undergraduate member, for a two year term from 6 March 2020 to 5 March 2022.

  • Breakfast club mini
    Tuesday to Friday, 8:30 am to 10:30 am, 5 to 22 November - Level 5 Union House
    Think Breakfast Club was done for the year? Think again! To help fuel those long days of study, Student Care is hosting a very special mini Breakfast series - a scaled down version providing grab’N’go items, as well as a BYO mug program for those endless tea and coffee refills!
  • 2019 Sir John Downer Oration
    14 November, 6 pm - AHMS G030 Lecture Theatre
    You're warmly invited to the biennial Sir John Downer oration - established in 2012 by the University. Register now to attend Thursday's oration, presented by Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg MP.

  • Linguistics Symposium - International Year of Indigenous Language
    14 November, 9:45 am to 4:30 pm - Napier G04, North Terrace campus
    Come and join students from the Linguistics Dep
    artment as we share our research to mark 2019 International Year of Indigenous Languages. This is a FREE all day event with refreshments and light lunch provided. Registration is essential, but all are welcome!

 
  • Masterclass: Collective Impact
    15 November, 12 pm to 1:30 pm
    How does Collective Impact work and how do we apply it?

    Join Dr Nonie Brennan and the Don Dunstan Foundation in discussing how we can apply collective impact methodology to some of South Australia’s most complex problems. Use code ADLSTUDENT for 10% off when ordering.

  • Big Australians: Courage and the Public Sphere
    26 November, 10:30 am to 11:30 am - Napier G04, North Terrace campus
    Join us for this public lecture examining the idea of courage as a defining feature in the life and work of three prominent Australians, Geraldine Brooks, Pulitzer-prize winning journalist and author, the late John Clarke, much loved actor and writer, and Wesley Enoch, distinguished playwright and director.

 
  • Golden Key Honour Society – After Exams Movie Night!
    27 November, 6 pm to 9:30 pm - Cinema, Level 5 Union House.
    Join the GK Society for a night of epic-cinema action! We will be screening Spiderman: Into the Spider-verse. Tickets are FREE! Popcorn and drinks are FREE! All students are welcome - register now.

The Adelaide University Union advertises part time work for current students on the paid vacancies page from Employment Services.

Career Services are free for all students. CareerHub features a jobs board of opportunities related to your studies including paid work experience and graduate roles. The Careers team also run employer events and workshops to increase employability, build resumes, improve your interview skills and more.
