Bridge works start
Works on Barney Point bridges are under way with changed traffic conditions and detours in place while repairs are carried out.
Event funding on offer
Groups hosting a regionally significant sport or active recreation event between April and August 2016 can apply for funding until midnight, Feb 28.
Council trials free traps
Council has removed the cat and dog trap hire fee for the remainder of the financial year to encourage wider use of the service.

Attractions and places to gather are suggested ideas for a revitalised city centre. Offer your thoughts via Council's online forum.
Exhibition Floor Walk
This Saturday (Feb 27) from 10.30am to 11.30am join local artist Jan Ross-Manley for the final free Floor Walk of her exhibition.
Mount Larcom, Ambrose, Bracewell and Raglan community members can help determine the future of the old tennis court area.
Nominations are open for regional achievers aged 12 to 24 to attend a Mayor's Youth Breakfast on April 8 as part of National Youth Week.
