Niche Academy Online Learning ‘Niche Academy’ is an online training service designed to help you conquer those tricky tech problems and improve your social media skills. Tutorials are free and cover a range of technology topics including Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, using email and Google services, as well as guides to take you through many of Stanton’s online services and databases including eBook, eAudiobook and eMagazine collections. Stanton's Home Library Service Would you, or someone you know, appreciate library items delivered directly to the door? Stanton Library is trailing an expansion of our Home Library Service, to support vulnerable members of our community who are struggling at home and unable to access our online collections. To ensure we can provide this service to the people who need it most, priority will be given to housebound customers including older people, people with a disability and those with compromised immunity or who are required to self isolate. We are now taking online expressions of interest for this service via our website. Alternatively, phone North Sydney Council on 9936 8100 to request a return phone call from one of our Library team. Still want more? For more online learning opportunities, our friends at the North Sydney Community Centre have been working hard to with their tutors to rework and re-orient their popular programs to present online, and are excited to bring you the first rollout of Term 2 Virtual Classes. The online program includes creative workshops, health and wellbeing, music and dance, cooking and language classes. Featured activities include Zoom Language classes, Facebook Fitness, Zoom Yoga and online Photography classes, including a free virtual camera club, with more classes and activities to be available soon. The Centre is now offering a special 10% discount on selected online classes, with full details available on their website. Not a member? You can still join online through our online catalogue.
