WELCOME TO ISSUE 87

Dear member

As we are at the mid-way mark of the year it’s time to reflect on what’s been going on and how life is moving forward.  Yes the saying ‘the older you get the faster the year goes’ is true.

I remember in primary school, which was in the 80s, all I wanted was a ‘bubble’ skirt. Time went past very slowly.  It was a long time to wait for school holidays, maybe because we had three terms instead of four, and even longer wait for my birthday, at the end of the year.

But 2014 has come and is going past very quickly.  When I look back and see the accomplishments that have been made along the way, no wonder we have been busy.

So what have been some accomplishments for the RRR?  We have been mapping out a strategic plan for the future, organising our annual RRR Satellite Sundowner, posting to the RRR Facebook page and, as always, sharing inspiring and motivating stories of the wonderful women in our great state.

I’m personally hoping for a bit of a slower pace for the next six months but, if these lambs are anything to go by, I think my birthday will be here very soon!
