7. More than 100 pet deaths reportedly linked to recalled pet food; FDA

The number of pet deaths has been updated by The Food and Drug Administration to 110, which is linked to fatal levels of aflatoxin in recalled dog and cat food products. In addition, more than 210 pets were sick.

10. The same E. coli strain in leafy greens outbreak found in cattle faeces

A faeces sample that was collected on a roadside has confirmed the presence of the same strain as a 2020 E. coli O157:H7 outbreak linked to leafy greens that sickened 40 people across 19 states.
