No images? Click here Today the Prime Minister and the Premier of South Australia have made statements about the staged easing of the COVID-19 restrictions. South Australia is now in a relatively good place due largely to our commitment to minimising the opportunities for the virus to spread. The Premier has particularly announced that from Monday (11 May), there will be a slight increase in the activities that can take place in church buildings. The Synod Crisis Management Team will meet on Monday to give guidance for Uniting Church in South Australia Congregations. The advice from this meeting will then be distributed to congregations. We recognise that our congregations include many vulnerable people and we aim to pay particular care to their needs, while looking forward to being able to gather together in small ways. This coming Sunday is Mother’s Day and we honour our mothers and those who have nurtured us in special ways, even though it may be difficult to do so as we may wish. Blessings as you care for and encourage others. |
