Stat Of The Week28 July was World Hepatitis Day, raising awareness about viral hepatitis and the need for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Three countries in the Pacific—Fiji, Niue and Tonga—have achieved an impressive 99% immunisation rate. These figures reflect the successful efforts of these countries in ensuring that their youngest populations are protected against hepatitis B. More info In 2019, Kiribati's unemployment rate was 9%, while Micronesian neighbour the Marshall Islands reported a rate of 6.43%. These figures provide insights into employment dynamics across our Pacific region.
