Esther Nisenthal Krinitz at AVAM, Baltimore

AVAM announces the return of the testimonial embroideries created by Holocaust survivor, Esther Nisenthal Krinitz. After the works were premiered at AVAM in 2001 they travelled to 42 other museums around the world. Now they have returned to AVAM in an all-new, five-year, expansive installation, "Esther and The Dream of One Loving Human Family". The exhibition also features a partial recreation of Esther’s modest farm home.

Raw Vision Short Film Competition

We received many entries for our short film competition and our judges are going through entries now, with the winner being announced on March 15.

Below is Vanessa H. Smith's entry. Frank Walter was the featured artist for the Inaugural Antigua and Barbuda Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2017. Walter is a brilliant painter, musician, and writer. Hans Ulrich Obrist of the Serpentine Gallery called Walter the Leonardo Da Vinci of Antigua. This short film presents the work of a genius with significant mental challenges.
