Auckland moves to Level 2 from 11:59 pm tonight

The Prime Minister made the announcement earlier today that Auckland will move to alert level 2.  The rest of the country will move to alert level 1 with the next alert level review on Monday 22 February 2021.

What this means for you

Our campuses will reopen from tomorrow under our normal operating hours and align with the Government's guidelines set out under level 2.

  • If you or a family member is unwell, please stay at home
  • If you have cold, flu or COVID-19 symptoms, call your doctor or Healthline and get advice about being tested
  • Practice physical distancing of 1m where possible
  • Use of face coverings is encouraged
  • Continue to keep track of where you've been (Download NZ COVID tracer app)

On-campus learning and activities

Your lecturer will communicate with you directly if any teaching for the remainder of the week will remain online or revert back to campus.

If you are required in class this week, physical distancing of 1m will be practiced.  Where this is not possible, we encourage the use of face coverings.

Further support

With the change in alert levels, Te Puna Waiora Medical Centre has updated their processes accordingly and is open for in-person, phone or virtual consultations.

If you are attending an appointment in-person, please make note of the following:

  • Doors will remain locked so please use the doorbell.
  • A team member will ask screening questions before you enter.
  • You will be asked to wear a mask and use sanitizer on entering the Medical centre.
  • Numbers in the waiting area will be restricted to maintain 1 metre social distancing.

Please call 0800 10 85 10 or visit Te Puna Waiora web page to make an appointment.
