Building the Wahhoga Roundhouse
We’re honoring thousands of years of American Indian history in Yosemite by supporting the continued construction of a roundhouse where the Wahhoga Village, the last American-Indian settlement in Yosemite Valley, once stood. Once complete, it will allow for ongoing spiritual and traditional practices amongst Yosemite’s tribal communities.

Preserving Yosemite’s Historic Orchards
In 2019, Conservancy donors’ gifts are helping rescue 19th century trees in Yosemite’s historic orchards. Planted by Yosemite homesteaders to grow produce for the people and livestock during the 1850s, these trees provide links to the park’s pioneer past.
