The University of Pittsburgh provides full-time regular staff up to 7.5 hours of paid volunteer time or professional development time each month.  

Employees must obtain supervisory approval before taking this time, and both Non-Exempt and Exempt employees must document the time on your timecard. Full details are available in the Staff Handbook.
