January 28, 2021, is Data Privacy Day (known in Europe as Data Protection Day). An international event supported by over 50 countries, the purpose of Data Privacy Day is to raise awareness and promote privacy and data protection best practice. In recognition of this special day and to mark the upcoming release of AMSRO’s new Privacy (Market and Social Research) Code 2021, AMSRO is pleased to present two Data Privacy Day webinars for members. Ravikumar Narayanan, Business Development Director, Dynata and MRSI Professional Standards Committee member will bring the discussion directly to Asia and explain the challenges from the India point of view and how this compares to other countries in the Asia region. Disha Bhatnagar, Head/ Strategy & Insights AirAsia, Disha is familiar with data collection and analytics with a history in handling personal data. Disha is at the forefront of leading transformation in the insights profession and all that brings with privacy. She will bring in the client’s perspective to the discussion with her views covering Asia. Andy Zhao, President China Market Research Association will provide a view from China. China is the largest research market in APAC and with different sets of privacy issues which we need to understand when working in China and working for Chinese companies outside China. |
