Green Camel provides Australia’s largest supermarkets and fresh produce providers with organic and pesticide-free produce. Green Camel has developed technology to build and operate industry-leading commercial organic glasshouses, and they grow over 130,000kg of fresh leafy greens in an area of just 0.4ha! It is an exciting time for Green Camel with construction of a second glasshouse that has commenced, and when completed, will be the largest integrated fish and horticulture facility in the world! Need a desk, office or meeting space?Oran Park Smart Work HubA great place to launch your businessThe Oran Park Smart Work Hub has been welcoming businesses and commuters to the space since its launch in November of 2014. With over 100 businesses and 150 individual members, the 1200sqm modern facility boasts a strong networking community, lightning fast internet, tech enabled meeting rooms, printing facilities, a 40-seat event space for hire and an on-site host to meet and greet your guests and assist members within the space. Rather than a traditional lease, The Smart Work Hub invites users to access a workspace as little, or as often as required, across a range of ad-hoc and membership options. Starting from just under $50 per week, members can access the space and its facilities, along with a business address. The Smart Work Hub is also accessible to members, 24/7. Expanding on the original floorspace, the Smart Work Hub launched new office suites on the Northern side of the Oran Park Podium commercial tower floor in 2017, also introducing access, for all users, to a balcony with views over Oran Park Town. Plan to 'unlock' Camden's heritage homesCamden Park House The Camden Heritage Advisory Committee wants to turn the key and unlock the region's heritage homes for a special event. Councillors supported the initiative at the last council meeting. The council will now write to the owners of the region's historic homes and ask them to open their properties for inspection. The grants are to help either install new equipment or improve energy management. Eligible small business will be able to claim grants of up to $20,000, high energy using business up to $25,000. Camden's new 130-room hotel one step closerWests Group Macarthur chief executive Tony Mathew with the proposed plans for a new hotel on the Camden Lakeside golf course. Camden Council has approved a change to the Local Environment Plan which will allow for a five to seven-storey hotel to be built.
