Southwest Airlines Amps up Nonstop Service to Eight Cities

Celebrate! Beginning this August, Southwest Airlines is adding new nonstop flights from MKE that will take passengers from coast to coast, and many places in between! New service to Los Angeles (LAX), New York La Guardia (LGA) and Seattle (SEA) started August 12; service to Boston (BOS), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Minneapolis (MSP) and San Francisco (SFO) starts November 4; and service to New Orleans (MSY) starts February 2013. Check fares at Southwest.com.

Delta Shows Love to MKE Passengers

In June, Delta added flights to Detroit and Atlanta, and made it even easier for MKE passengers to fly to New York City, launching new nonstop service to both John F. Kennedy (JKF) and LaGuardia (LGA) – and providing MKE Facebook fans with a special incentive to check out the service. A big congrats to Jennifer D., of Fox Lake, Ill., and Ashley M., of Kenosha, Wis., who won the "I Love MKE to NYC" Facebook sweepstakes. Each will receive round-trip airfare for two, from MKE to NYC, on Delta Airlines. Thanks to everyone who entered and helped spread the word that MKE is the region’s low-cost, easy-travel airport for reaching great destinations. MKE Airfares Lower Than O’Hare and U.S Average

Based on first quarter 2012 average domestic fares, MKE fares were $66 less than those from O’Hare and $59 less than the U.S. average.

Inc.com Names MKE in Top Alternative Airports

Thanks Inc.com for the ink!
