Business outcomes & OKR insights, and upcoming events No Images? Click here Hello, amazing change leaders! One of the keys to successfully achieving enterprise business agility is aligning teams to outcomes at every level of your organization. Why? So that teams and individuals are connected to the business value and impact of their work. We’ve looked at many team health assessments across hundreds of teams and “Value Delivered” has consistently been rated the lowest of all competencies. Organizations and teams today are too focused on measuring outputs (i.e., number of features delivered, velocity, meeting a date) but struggle to tie their output to the business impact that is expected. This has created the “feature factory” syndrome where Agile teams have large backlogs and are working at an unsustainable pace. We want to deliver fewer features that have higher business outcomes. In this issue, we’ll educate you on business outcomes and OKRs (Objectives & Key Results), and give you ideas and insights to help you create alignment across all levels in your organization. To make defining and tracking outcomes easier, we’ve built an exciting new dashboard and we’re sharing a short demo below. Reminders: Don’t forget to watch the recorded webinar about outcomes. Also, we'll be at the Business Agility Conference Mar 13-14 and we invite you to take our quick survey to help us uncover the real state of business agility. ❤️ Sally Elatta & the Agile Transformation Team What Are OKRs?OKR stands for Objectives & Key Results. This is a popular method leveraged by Intel, Google and many others to align their teams to desired business goals. In addition to the recorded webinar, check out these valuable resources:
