Hi

The temperatures may be dropping, but our hearts are warm with the release of 2022’s Albury Wodonga Visitor Economy Trends report. We’re delighted to see visitation returning to pre-pandemic levels. Tourism injected more than $1.157 billion into the Albury Wodonga economy during 2022 – an increase of 96% from the previous year. At its peak in 2019 (pre COVID-19), tourism injected $1 billion into the local economy.

It's a wonderful testament to your hard work, and it’s a delight to be working with you to help deliver these outstanding results for our destination.

Continuing the momentum of our seasonal marketing campaigns, this week we launched our winter campaign with fresh, inspiring content. Our strategy is to continue with paid social, search and YouTube over winter. We are also supporting a small campaign to highlight the 3 week Aurora event. View a sample of our winter content here

Our region and some of our operators were showcased in Visit Victoria activity via feature stories on The Murray in Time Out and Urban List. Stories included 7 Perfect Plates To Devour In The Murray Region and The best natural wonders to explore on the Murray.

We enjoyed business and conference event market exposure on the Micenet platform after our successful exhibition at the Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings (AIME) event. The article was also featured in Business Events Victoria’s newsletter.
