Science orientation week 2020, for those starting at ANU in 2020:
17 February –21 February 2020

The Joint Colleges of Science Induction sessions provide an opportunity for undergraduate students to meet and hear from First Year Conveners and later year students. During the sessions information will be shared about what to expect during your first semester of study, including course structure, helps support and tips on adjusting to university life as a first year student. Read more

Advisory days:
4 December – 19 December 2019
Have you received a conditional offer to study in 2020 or are you interested in studying at The Australian National University? At each Advisory Day you will have one-on-one access to advisors, as well as representatives from our academic Colleges. We will be there to answer your questions, no matter how general or detailed, so we encourage you to come along to learn more about why ANU is the right choice for you. Read more

Science field trips as part of a bachelor degree:
The ANU offers a vast range of undergraduate programs and courses to spark whatever interest you have in science. Read more

Major news for astronomy and astrophysics students:
The ANU has introduced a new Astronomy and Astrophysics major for Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Science (Advanced) (Honours) students. The new Astronomy and Astrophysics major provides students with an overview of the application of physics to understanding the physical universe. Read more

The science of shiraz: soil sampling with the environmental science field school:
The Environmental Science Field School offered by the Fenner School of Environment and Society at ANU, recently went to the Clonakilla vineyard in Murrumbateman and conducted soil sample tests in a range of sites across a single vineyard. Read more

6 STEM students share their hobbies:
Students in STEM have many passions, both inside and outside of the field. Along with their love of science, they also enjoy exploring artistic and recreational activities. This allows them to break up their studies while also feeding their creative side and fills their desire for an additional challenge. Some see an overlap between their hobby and science. Read more

 

 

Destination Australia Scholarships for 2020Destination Australia domestic scholarship applications are now open for programs at UQ’s Gatton Campus for study in 2020.

 Future Experiences in Agriculture, Science and Technology - register now. Students in Yr 11-12 are invited to apply for the FEAST residential camp, at the UQ Gatton campus from Sun 28 June–Wed 1  July 2020. Discover more
