The Cpl Institute - Monthly Newsletter

- Public, Online and Customised In-House Courses Available -

Welcome to our November Newsletter.

We've been working hard to adapt our courses to be completed online where possible and due to enquiries and discussions with clients we have started to create bespoke offerings to help solve problems and issues in the workplace, even where the workplace is at home.

Due to the November lockdown our December courses have started to fill up so places are limited. We have a number of public courses available in November and December which are detailed below and we have four new online courses available. These include: Chemical Safety Awareness, Abrasive Wheels Awareness, Hand Arm Vibration Awareness and our Working from Home Essentials course...…..

New Online Course Available......

We've gone live with our Working from Home Essentials online course. It was designed to raise awareness about how people can take care of their physical, mental and emotional health and well-being while working from home. Our 1-hour course addresses some of the challenges people face while working from home and offers guidance on managing your equipment, workstation, environment and well-being.

The areas covered on the course include:

  • Well-being and Productivity
  • Correct Posture
  • Workstation Set-up
  • Additional Issues
  • Exercises
  • *Self-Assessment (Optional Add-on)
  • Test

*ADD-ON AVAILABLE

A Working from Home Self-Assessment add-on is also available. The self-assessment asks all participants to complete an online questionnaire, answering nearly 70 questions, detailing their working from home environment, equipment and any issues they face while working from home.

Reporting

A self-assessment report is provided to employers showing all staff who completed the self-assessment. You will be able to see who needs equipment and who doesn’t, who has a positive and productive working from home environment and who may not.

The self-assessments will influence your working from home policies and they will help you make decisions around who may need to return to the office and who doesn’t. Contact us to discuss this option or for a demo.
