No images? Click here A new track to Sharplin FallsIt's been 10 years since walkers could safely access Canterbury’s much-treasured Sharplin Falls. We worked closely with the Mt Somers Walkways Society as it created a new track on the opposite side of the valley. Upper Hutt access saved We helped a successful objection to an unformed legal road stopping near Riverstone Terraces. Pat van Berkel argued the access could form a link with the Hutt River Trail. We're happy the council used the Guidelines for the Management of Unformed Legal Roads to inform its decisions. Waka Kotahi cycling action plan We support Waka Kotahi’s cycling action plan, which sets out a pathway to significantly increase cycling safety and attractiveness. We offered our expertise in working with councils to create cycleways off the formed road network and in rural areas. We're also engaging with Waka Kotahi regarding its national walking plan.
