Call for Applications: 2020 STFM Foundation Board of TrusteesSTFM is now accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on the STFM Foundation Board of Trustees. There are four open positions in 2020. Trustees raise money for the Foundation, participate in fund-raising activities, serve as ambassadors for the Foundation, and participate in decision making through work groups and two annual meetings. Reviewers Needed for 2020 STFM Annual Spring Conference SubmissionsThe STFM Program Committee is seeking volunteer reviewers for the 2020 STFM Annual Spring Conference submissions. As a volunteer reviewer, you can expect to review 25-30 submissions (3-4 hours of work). Reviews will begin by September 13 and must be completed by October 21. A Strategy to Improve Family Medicine In-Training Examination ScoresBecause of below average performance, residents at St. Elizabeth Boardman Family Medicine Residency Program wanted a way to increase their in-training examination (ITE) test scores. At morning report, a question from the previous year’s ITE is presented on a screen by a resident at the end of the patient care presentations. The residents, faculty, and medical students in attendance provide an answer, along with their rationale.
