No images? Click here The beginning of Term 2 is very different this year than any other. At this time we are being guided by the directives of not only the Premier of NSW but also the Department of Education. As of next week we will welcome back all Year 12 students every day of the week and one year group each day. We have been asked to reduce the numbers of students in each classroom to a maximum of 15 in each room and to encourage social distancing. I ask for your support and cooperation in keeping students at home if it is not their rostered day to attend school. Please note the canteen continues to be closed and students need to bring lunch to school. At this moment in time this will also continue for week 4. An SMS reminder will be sent to parents and any updates or changes will also be communicated to provide families with the latest information. I have been monitoring the rate of engagement of students with online learning, as have their teachers, and the engagement levels have been very high. Please refer to our website and the Learning from Home tab for all the information to support students in completing online learning and to support parents with their supervision of the learning of their children. Mrs M Hutchinson We would like to give our heartfelt thanks to everyone in our school community for their patience. The information and advice from NSW and Federal Government's has been constantly changing. We will send out accurate information as it is confirmed, and therefore delays are to be expected. Parents can rely on text messages from the school for vital operational information. If you need to update your contact details, please contact the school. The videos below explain how we will be moving forward in Weeks 3 and 4 of this term. We understand the uncertainty beyond this can be disconcerting, however, we ask for your patience as things change. Starting Monday 11 MayThe Premier and Minister for Education have announced a phased operating model for NSW schools during COVID-19. The new model sees students being reintroduced to some face-to-face learning on campus starting from week 3. From Monday 11 May, students will attend school at least one day a week and learn from home on the other days. Teachers will plan the same learning for students at school and at home. When at home, students follow their online live lesson timetable. You can find them on our website. At school, students follow their regular school timetable, available on Millennium. Note canteen is closed. Explore the Learning From Home section of our website! The information in this section will continue to be updated.
