Spider Web Hosts Skills USA Screen Printing Competition
At the end of March, seven high school students competed in the SkillsUSA Maryland State Championship in screen printing at Spider Web Promotions.
Each year, high school and post-secondary students across Maryland who are enrolled in Career and Technology Education (CTE) programs compete in the SkillsUSA Maryland competition in over 90 occupational and leadership events. Students compete in events like baking, graphic design, and welding. Spiderweb had the pleasure of hosting the screen printing competition right from our design studio!
First place winners represent Maryland at the National SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference (NLSC) in Louisville, Kentucky in June. As far as we're concerned, all of these students are winners and we're so proud to host such a great competition! We're always looking for ways to be involved in our community and give something back!

Peggy, Head of Embroidery
Introducing the head of our Embroidery department, Peggy Garber. Peggy is on her second stint as an employee of Spider Web. All together she has been with us 9 years. She rejoined the company in 2015 and we are very fortunate to have her back!
Peggy enjoys spending time with her family going camping, boating, crabbing, and horseback riding. She also likes to sew in her spare time.
