Save the Planet ProjectsCaring for our Planet Earth is an important value that we are trying to teach our students. During the past few weeks, through different classroom projects students learned about the importance of respecting the environment in which we all live and how the things we do today may affect our future. Farewell, ABC Book! Сбогом, Букварче!The first grade dual language program students and their families bid farewell to their ABC Books "Bukvar" (Буквар) and celebrated their completion. The second grade students officially introduced them to the new reading book "Chitanka" (Читанка) which will lead them to discover new knowledge. Bidding farewell to the ABC Book is a school tradition in Bulgaria celebrating the literacy of Elementary school students. Friday - Chocolate Sweet Treat DayFriday is known at AEA as "Pizza Day". Grade 7 established a new very sweet tradition - every Friday is a Chocolate Sweet Treat Day in their class! Chocolate is not only known for its health benefits, it is also a symbol of love and caring, and the best mood elevator! Chocolate was a well-deserved treat after their hard work earlier today, when the seven graders planted several plants in pots on the balcony outside the classroom wing. |
