We like to get our students involved in as many activities in and outside the classroom as possible, so they get a full hands-on experience when it comes to learning about different skills and areas of work.
We are so lucky that Devon and Cornwall have so many places to explore and friendly businesses, which are happy to open their doors to our students to give them an insight in future job roles.

Car Wash Fundraiser
|
Our students hosted a car wash fundraiser to raise money for Cornwall Hospice Care - a charity which provides specialist care for people with terminal illnesses 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With buckets full of soapy water and wash cloths at the ready, our students got stuck into washing our staff's cars. All money raised was taken to our local Cornwall Hospice Care shop and donated into the charity tub. A big well done to our students!

Coastguard Trip

Our student Finley, had the opportunity to take an educational trip to the coastguard center, learning about the job role and what it entails.
Coastguards work hard making sure people and vessels around our coastline are safe, using specialist equipment - all of which Finley got to see and try out. We think we see a future coastguard in the making!

Improvement Of Our Facilities |
Are you worried that your children will lose their pens and equipment during their exams? All stationary is important for your child to succeed so don't panic, we've made sure to stock up on all the necessities by installing a well-equipped exams cupboard, so we can be ready for when the exam season hits.
We have also recently upgraded the boys and girl's changing rooms as part of our sports hall refurbishment.

Christmas Activities |

With the last week of term upon us, we are all systems go with festive fun and activities. From arts and crafts to cooking and singing, we have lots going on to keep our students excited for Christmas time. We will be hosting our school Christmas Dinner again this year, where our students will be able to help prepare the food themselves. Learning different culinary skills whilst making the perfect roast dinner.
