Ebbe Bødtkjer receives the Skou award 2019

He delivers impressive research results and is unusually adept at attracting external research funding. This is the reason for MD and PhD Ebbe Bødtkjer from the Department of Biomedicine receives the faculty’s talent award this year. Join the celebration of him at the award ceremony.

Health goes from three to two vice-deans

From the turn of the year, the Dean's Office at Health will consist of two vice-deans – one for research and one for education. The aim is to ensure the greatest possible cohesion in resolving tasks and to strengthen the faculty’s international and interdisciplinary work along with the external collaboration with companies and foundations.

The faculty’s new bioimaging core facility is now opening for all Health researchers who wish to make use of the eight advanced microscope systems which are currently available. The microscopes are installed in the Skou Building at the bottom of the University Park.

Associate Professor and PhD Gustavo Nascimento from Aarhus University has travelled the world to enhance his skills in his research field. He has now been awarded the Bagger-Sørensen Foundation's Young Researcher Prize of DKK 75,000 in recognition of his tireless work and impressive research results.
