Female Adult Entertainers Discuss Personal and Professional Sex Lives

Almost 25% of women in the adult entertainment industry have sexual problems to some extent, according to a recent study in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.

The finding is based on a survey of 96 female adult entertainers who answered questions about their personal and professional sex lives. 

Overall, the women preferred their personal sexual lives over the encounters they had in front of the camera.

Sexual Recovery After Prostate Cancer: What Do Couples Need?

Prostate cancer patients and their partners don't always receive adequate information about sex after treatment, experts say. 

In a series of interviews and focus groups, patients and partners discussed what they wanted in terms of sexual guidance.

The need for information about sexual side effects of treatment, better communication between partners, and counseling were common themes. 

Gay participants also stressed the need for tailored support for same-sex couples.

FDA Issues Safety Labeling Changes for Addyi

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has revised the safety labeling for Addyi, a drug used to treat hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) in premenopausal women. 

Specifically, the change pertains to the interaction between Addyi and alcohol.
