A cross section of Australian Directors at varying stages of their career will discuss the craft, their own career, and their unique approach to directing.

Production Management | 6 March – 16 May
This thorough and in-depth course demystifies the role of a Production Manager, providing participants with the confidence and skills to run any scale of production. Participants receive comprehensive course notes and production templates, and learn how to manage all aspects of a shoot including budgets and expenses, call sheets, schedules, contracts and awards.
Camera and Lighting Techniques | 25 February - 4 March
This course covers intermediate camera operation and techniques of cinematography. Participants will perform a number of practical exercises during this hands-on course learning skills relating to studio and location lighting, scene coverage, framing and camera movement.
AVID Media Composer 6 Fundamentals | 18 March - 1 April
Learn the basics of editing with Avid's newest editing software – Media Composer 6. During the course you will cover a range of topics including system settings, capturing, editing and trimming techniques, finishing and exporting.
Film Producing | 22 March - 24 May
Film Producing takes an in-depth look at producing independent films. From recognising a good concept through to marketing and distribution, this course covers the essentials of securing funding, pitching, hiring crew, dealing with legal responsibilities, selling your finished film and running a production company.

Antenna International Documentary Festival
Antenna International Documentary Festival is now accepting submissions for the 2012 program which will take place for the second time in Sydney at the beginning of October 2012. Hosted at our Venue Partner Dendy Cinemas, Antenna invites features, medium and short films from established and debut independent filmmakers, distributors and films schools. The successful first edition of the Antenna Festival, featured over 28 feature documentaries, 15 shorts, film competitions with three prizes totaling $10,000, special events and international guests. Competition prizes for Antenna Festival 2012 will be announced shortly.
