Penis Enlargement Surgery Can Have Serious Complications
Men who seek to increase the length or girth of their penis should know that surgical complications can be extensive, advise the authors of a recent Journal of Sexual Medicine study.
Researchers discussed the cases of 11 patients who required interventions after genital surgery complications, which included penile deformity, infection, and sexual dysfunction.
Ten of the men underwent corrective surgery. All patients saw improvements in appearance and function, but the changes did not restore their penis to its original condition before the enlargement procedure.
The findings could help physicians counsel men considering penis enlargement.
