The UIC Spring Programme 2015 is out now

We are ready to start a new semester full of Wednesday lectures, seminars, pot-luck and much more - and everyone is welcome to join us!

This semester the programme revolves around Denmark as a theme. Several events will in one way or the other be about the Danish society, and some will also concentrate more specifically on Aarhus city.

Among other things UIC will look closer at the upcoming Danish parliament election, the Danish healthcare system, the history of Modern Denmark, and how to buy a house in Denmark. And we have also invited Tax Centre Aarhus to visit us for a seminar and provide information about taxation in Denmark. Furthermore, our own university city will be a focus point with events such as Informal Meetings at ARoS ART Café and when we take a closer look at Aarhus’ title as European Capital of Culture 2017.

SEARCH FIELD IN ENGLISH ON STAFF.AU.DK

A new feature has been added to staff.au.dk and it is now possible to search in English on the staff portal.

The search field feature makes it possible to find specific information on various topics by searching across the entire staff service website either alphabetically or by using using the search function. The search field was launched on the Danish part of the website in autumn 2014 and a much requested English version is now available. This makes it easier for international, non-Danish speaking AU staff to gain access to information from the administration.
