New at The State Museum: Revolutionary Things
The countdown to America’s 250th birthday is officially on at The State Museum of Pennsylvania! If you haven't visited yet, their latest exhibit, Revolutionary Things, features over 140 rare artifacts—including the original 1st Pennsylvania Regiment flag and a massive 1893 painting of the "Birth of Our Nation’s Flag." Be sure to check out the companion display, Illuminating Independence, featuring 35 hand-penned versions of the Declaration of Independence. Both are open now through August 2026. New Downtown Hangout: Coronet Park Opens this Spring
Harrisburg is getting a new pocket park! Located on S. Second Street, Coronet Park is a dedicated space for live music, themed pop-ups, and community gatherings. Events officially begin April 22 with an Earth Day Plant Swap, followed by a monthly concert series,
a "Yappy Hour," and more throughout the summer. Admission is free, making it easy to hangout in downtown!
Baseball is Back!
The Senators return to City Island for their home opener on Tuesday, April 7. Come out to FNB Field to cheer on the home team and stay after the final out for a fireworks show to celebrate the start of the season.
