Now available in Cantonese, Khmer , Tagalog, English, Korean, Tamil, French, Mandarin, Thai, Greek, Punjabi, Turkish, Indonesian, Russian, Vietnamese, Italian, Somali, Japanese, Spanish. These resources are in addition to the Information for parents on the staged return to on-site schooling that has been translated into 23 languages as well as Auslan. Translated information on restriction easing in VictoriaGetting tested for CoronavirusTranslated and Easy English information is available on Coronavirus testing: This Department of Health and Human Services fact sheet has been translated into 47 languages and is available here. You can read the English version here. Enliven has developed a pictorial, Easy English guide on what happens during a COVID-19 test and is available here. Health Translations is a comprehensive place to find current COVID-19 multilingual information in over 70 languages including Auslan and Easy English. The collection includes facts sheets, videos, posters and other campaign materials. Resources are updated daily. Health Translations’ excellent May Newsletter includes new translated resources focusing on Family Violence, Victoria's return to school plan, Influenza vaccination promotion, Legal issues, Telehealth, COVID-19 Centrelink payment and access options and other important topics related to COVID-19. Other News and ResourcesThe Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY) has collated information about what homework club offerings offering (either online or offline support). To access the PDF click here. Red Cross's valuable resource on key social services related to COVID-19: Amendments & eligibility related to migrants with temporary visas is available here. Services Australia (formerly Centrelink) has a dedicated email address is available for community agencies and service providers. If you would like to arrange a services Australia staff member to provide an information session to staff, communities or clients on the many recent changes to government payments, contact them at this address: sevic.multicultural.service.officers@servicesaustralia.gov.au. REMINDER: AMES Australia's Specialised and Intensive Services (SIS) is a complex case management and care coordination service available to humanitarian entrants and other eligible visa holders who have complex needs, including those who have become more vulnerable as a result of COVID-19. Holders of Humanitarian and Refugee Visas may be eligible for SIS up to five years after their arrival in Australia, or up to five years after the grant of their eligible onshore visa. In exceptional circumstances, flexibility may be shown to this timeframe and holders of other visa subclasses. Food security and emergency ReliefFinding food in Casey, Cardinia and Greater Dandenong: Enliven has put together an excellent resource for those living and working in the South East of Melbourne. Details on locations for emergency food relief include: Sikh Volunteers Australia Please note some emergency food relief services may not be operating as normal during this time, so best to contact your local emergency food relief first for more information. Australian Red Cross - Vulnerable Migrants on Temporary Visas Assistance. Due to significant demand for financial assistance at this time, please only refer clients whose wellbeing and/or safety is at serious risk. For any clients assessed as in need of urgent financial support, please support them to make an application through this online portal. New resource for young LGBTIQA+ peopleThe Rainbow Safety Guide is an informational wallet card that links LGBTIQ+ youth experiencing violence and abuse to online and phone resources.
