Family Reunifications at Genesis II

One of the main goals for women reentering the community after spending time in prison is to reconnect with their families. Regina Jones and Misty Coleman, residents of Genesis II, recently enjoyed spending some time with their children. Misty's son visited her at Genesis II and Regina attended her daughter's prom leadout. Family reunification is one of the goals of Genesis II, a transitional home for formerly incarcerated women. Residents are excited to rebuild relationships with their children and families.

Healthy You's Genesis II Transitional Home was one of five local nonprofits to receive funds from Zonta as a service partner. Rep. Martha Roby was the keynote speaker at the luncheon where Healthy You and the other service partners were recognized. The residents of Genesis II appreciate Zonta's support!
