Reflection

REFLECTION
Lord, lead us to be peace-makers, building connections between individuals, focusing on what unites people rather than on what separates us and highlights our differences.
Lord, it’s easy to harm relationships; instead, give us the power of your Spirit that we may build up and make new the bonds between people. Amen.

Greg's Message

Dear Parents and Friends of St Anne’s

I hope that all mothers enjoyed their special day last Sunday. Speaking of special days this Saturday and Sunday our Year 4's will be receiving Eucharist for the first time. We congratulate and wish them all the best.

Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences
These meetings will occur on Thursday 24 June for the following classes: F/1, 2/3 and 4/5. Students from these classes will be dismissed at 1pm on this day and it will be a normal finish time for Class 5/6. Tara Smith (one of our teachers 5/6SB) will be on leave on June 24. Consequently, 5/6SB conferences will be held on Thursday 29 July.

Parents and Friend's News

Thank you to Sarah Dare for organising a wonderful evening for the St Anne’s Mother’s Day Dinner at Dawson last Thursday 6th May. It was a great opportunity for the ‘new’ and ‘old’ mums to mingle and enjoy each other’s company whilst dining on delicious food.

A big thanks also to Therese Taouk for organising the beautiful flowers from Garden Gallery Kew for the Mother’s Day Stall and to Hannah, Greta, Oscar & Francesco for their help running the stall on the day.

We hope all our St Anne’s Mums had a very Happy Mother’s Day last Sunday.

Ski Team 2021

St Anne’s Primary School Ski Team 2021

The Interschool Snowsports Championships are back on this year will take place on Monday 24th & Tuesday 25th August 2021 at Mt Buller.

The Interschools Snowsport Championships provide an opportunity for Australian school students of all ages to experience competitive snowsports. Competitors from all ability levels are encouraged to enter, with an emphasis on fun and participation. Students from Foundation to Year 6 can represent St Anne's, but it is recommended they have some skiing experience.

On-mountain accommodation on the Sunday, Monday & Tuesday nights will book up quickly so if your children would like to join the team and you wish to stay on the mountain, booking early is essential.
