 Are we on target for 2030?

At the end of June, the UK government published its first ever Voluntary National Review mapping out domestic and international progress towards the 17 interlinked UN Sustainable Development Goals.

So how are we doing? The answer is mixed, and it depends who you ask. Reports by Bond and the UWS-Oxfam Partnership offer much insight and as we await the Scottish Government's Supplementary Review due out later this month, some initial analysis of the UK report shows we have much work to do.

Since heightened media attention on safeguarding issues in the international development and humanitarian sectors last year, The Alliance has taken a leading role in making sure the right resources, training and tools are in place to improve safeguarding standards.

The Alliance is rolling out new initiatives to point the way to gold standards in safeguarding.
