This two-day workshop hosted by Nest Australian Design Studio, Darlington will guide you through basic woodworking and metalworking techniques using up-cycled and found objects. Learn to operate basic hand-held power tools safely, and how to apply your newly acquired skills to your sculpture.

Mundaring Folk 'N' Blues Club

On the third Friday of every month, the Mundaring Folk 'n' Blues Club presents a wide variety of music, nominally in the "folk and blues" genre, but there is a wide variety of music, played LIVE. Entry $10 (sometimes higher for special acts).

Over the (20 mile) Limit - The origin of the Sunday Session

From 1922 to 1970, many Perth residents travelled to the Hills on a Sunday afternoon to enjoy the beautiful bush landscape, as well as to visit local hotels and pubs. Why? While all licensed venues in the metropolitan area were closed on Sundays, hotels and pubs more than 20 miles from the Perth Town Hall could open on Sunday afternoons and serve alcohol to ‘travellers’.

Using the Mundaring Hills Historical Society's downloadable map visit the historical hotels and pubs located in the Perth Hills and learn about the history of these buildings, as well as the origin of the 'Sunday Session'. Hard copies of the map are available from Mundaring Visitor Centre.

Check out the SPECIAL DEALS offered by several of the taverns along the route (only available during the festival) on presentation of the map (hard copy or from your phone). Conditions apply.

Marloo Theatre presents The Anniversary

Written by Bill MacIlwraith and directed by Rob Warner, this comedy is set in South London in 1966 and is best known as the “mother-in-law-from-hell play”.

The Anniversary is a black comedy where the family matriarch binds her three sons to her with gifts, threats & ruthless exploitation of their weaknesses.

Darlington Chamber Music Series 2018 at Boya Community Centre
