A message from your Student President No images? Click here Friday 15 October 2021 Kia ora ,We hope you've enjoyed a much-deserved mid-semester break, and we can't wait to welcome to back to class from Monday 18 October. As you will be aware, Auckland will remain at Alert Level 3 next week, which means there is no change to the way Unitec is currently operating. Courses with critical practical elements that have begun operating on campus under strict Alert Level Guidelines, will continue. For the latest information on class content and delivery, check your course Moodle page for updates from your lecturer. We understand Alert Level restrictions have made it difficult for some students to complete course requirements this semester, and are working towards a solution to further support you to achieve your course curriculum. Further government guidance is expected over the next few days, and we will keep you updated as we learn more about our changing Alert Levels. We've received great feedback from teaching and support staff in regards to student commitment and engagement under the current conditions. We know studying and working from home can be extremely challenging and would like to acknowledge your awesome mahi and commitment to your studies as we navigate through constantly changing Alert Level restrictions. Need some extra support? Our Student Services can provide support remotely. To book an appointment with one of our services, call 0800 10 75 10. Again, we commend you for your efforts as we continue to do our part to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and look forward to your return to online classes on Monday. In the meantime, we encourage you to continue being vigilant, and, if you can, to take some time out this weekend to readjust and recharge for return to the semester. Ngā mihi nui
