The start to Term 3 has seen schools once again restricted in the activities they are able to undertake and a return to non-essential visitors not being permitted on school sites. All staff and essential personnel who come onsite are now required to register with a QR code each day. Whilst social distancing is not required for students, the wearing of masks in indoor settings is mandatory by Public Health Orders (PHO) and compulsory on public transport. CHHS was fortunate to be able to celebrate and acknowledge the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Celebrating NAIDOC Week with Bush Tucker TastingOn Tuesday after the School Assembly, all CHHS students had the opportunity to taste some amazing Bush Tucker. The roo meat balls were a big hit!!! Many thanks to Ms Drummond and her students for their hard work in organising this and other activities to celebrate NAIDOC Week. 2021 Lady Elliot Island TripAt the end of last term Year 12 Marine Studies students had a wonderful experience by visiting and conducting vital coral reef research at Lady Elliot Island, Great Barrier Reef. This was made possible by funding from NSW Transport Grant and Camden Head Pilot Station Manager, Hayley Proudfoot.
