We're nearly there!

The Edward Roberts Court project is almost complete and we are pleased to tell you that the upper-half of the ramp connecting the South Spine to the upper-level shops will be open from the 10th January.

The project is running slightly behind schedule with the appointed contractor now aiming to complete the project by the end of January.

The delay has been caused by a number of unforseen problems in relation to the way the area was originally constructed and used.

The focus now is on getting the cut-through adjacent to the Deli opened up by the 10th January to give access to the upper-level shops from the South Spine.

Following this, the central staircase will be opened up in coming weeks, allowing better access to the lower-level courtyard and connecting it with the upper-level. Unfortunately, the accessible route will remain diverted through Furness building until the works are complete to the remaining ramp.

Minor finishing touches and snagging may take place around the end of January and in to February, however the contractor is pushing to complete and open the court fully, by the end of the month. An official opening event is being planned and further details will be provided as and when they become clear.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding throughout this project and rest assured that we are doing everything we can to complete this project as quickly as possible.
