It is through one of our recent events that Rod Murphy, R&R Murphy and Phil Macfarlane, Rose Valley Steel Works met. Featured in this month’s Better Together column, Rod and Phil are now working together, sharing ideas and information for mutual success. Manufacturers want to learn, talk, and connect with one another. I know this because many of our events have attracted hundreds of manufacturers; it has been standing room only on numerous occasions.

Industry NewsFollowing extensive consultation, the Department of Defence recently announced major reforms to the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP)—the program that helps Australian businesses and innovators supply goods and services to Defence. Industry is now able to self-nominate for DISP membership, without the need for a Defence contract.
