Our news is dedicated to you, our local legends, making a difference. You’re all kinds of awesome!![]() Build starts on tiny homesA big Wave of Kindness came Youturn’s way in the form of $50,000 donation from the local Noosa charity to get us to the build stage of two Tiny Homes for transitional housing. Homes built by local company Aussie Tiny Houses, will be positioned nearby Youturn Tewantin as we continue to work closely with Noosa Council on the preferred site. Public donations and special events, such as the White’s IGA ‘Buy a Brick” and Bendigo Community Bank promotions, has contributed gap funding. The fruition of “Big Hearts for Tiny Homes” comes during a Queensland rental crisis, and we are extremely grateful to partners who have stepped up with us. Mountain runner breaks new groundWe’re stoked to announce individuals, or teams, can now create personal fundraising pages on Youturn’s behalf, and share their page with friends, family and community members to collect donations towards our youth causes. Youturn’s Engagement and Donor Relations Manager, Susan Beaton, is calling on Youturn supporters to get behind this new initiative and in particular runner Riley O’Brien who is bravely breaking new ground for us.
