August 2019 Issue Available Now

AJUM August 2019 Issue

The front cover for this months’ issue was sent in from the Imperial College in the United Kingdom. Thank you to Dr Harsha Shah and Professor Tom Bourne for the beautiful three-dimensional ultrasound of a 12-week fetus.

Our guest editorial was written by Dr Abby Harwood on “The importance of ultrasound in improving rural and remote care”. Dr Harwood (Chief Medical Officer from the Royal Flying Doctor Service, QLD section) is the plenary speaker at the upcoming World Congress in Ultrasound. If you haven’t registered to attend this conference in Melbourne, it's not too late to do so.

In celebration of the multidisciplinary World Congress in Ultrasound, our August issue has something for everyone. From obstetrics, gynaecology, breast, fetal medicine, PoCUS and lung ultrasound, come visit us at the ASUM booth to pick up a free print version of the journal (we have limited copies per day, so don’t delay). If you would like to opt-in for the printed copy of the journal delivered to your doorstep, contact our friendly memberships officer at ASUM for more information.
